Block Smoke Test

This page exercises the SpringBoard starter’s block stack end to end: stored content_blocks rendered through display_blocks(), Tempo seams, the Bootstrap scaffold, sections, and the nested accordion renderer. Each block says what it is testing.

Block 1 — white, first on the page, so its top edge should take a Rest.

Block 2 — two columns

Same background as block 1, so the seam above this should be a tight Beat. The two columns come from the Bootstrap col-lg split.

Column two

At desktop this sits beside column one at 50/50. Below the lg breakpoint the columns should stack.

Block 3 — light grey, centered

Different background from block 2, so the seam above should be a Breath rather than a Beat.

Blocks 4–7 — a green section

Blocks 5 and 6 sit inside a Section pair. Interior seams are always Beats and the children render transparent on the section’s band. The section itself always Breathes against its neighbors.

Tile one

A tiles grid inside the section, columns style.

Tile two

Three tiles, no images, no buttons.

Tile three

Should sit in one row at desktop and stack on mobile.

Panel one

Block 9 — an accordion on light grey. This panel holds a nested Text block rendered by block_accordion_blocks.php, which runs the Tempo engine over its own children.

Panel two

A second panel, to confirm open/close behavior and that only one opens at a time.

Block 10 — blue, dark tone

Last block on the page, so its bottom edge takes a Rest. Dark tone, so text should render light-on-dark.
